Tour begins with hotel pick-up and van tour to the Summit of Haleakala National Park. Guides will provide clients with a history of Haleakala, its geology and an explanation of rare plants and animals only found on Maui. Upon arrival at the House of the, "Sun Visitors Center", clients will be escorted to the rim of the Crater to view into the worlds largest dormant volcano and beyond to the big island of Hawaii
The Tour proceeds to the 6,500 foot level of Haleakala where clients are expertly fitted to their bicycles and begin their 28-mile bike ride down the slopes of Haleakala, continuing thru the switchbacks, and Haleakala Ranch.
Tour stops at Sunrise Market and Protea Farm for a NO-HOST lunch. The ride of a lifetime continues down through Kula, Makawao, Haliimaile and to the Pacific Ocean ending at Paia Bay Beach Park.
We include round trip transportation, continental breakfast en-route to the launching point, Columbia Sportswear windbreaker pants and jacket, gloves, helmet and state of the art Volcano Chrome Cruiser Bikes.
